Screen Room

Add another "room" to your house!

During times of the year when insects are a problem, the SunSetter Screen Room keeps out the bugs, but lets in the light and breeze. It’s also great when you want to enjoy your deck at night, keeping out moths. Made of strong, light grey fiberglass netting, the Screen Room is extremely durable. It won’t rust, rot, or discolor. It installs easily to your awning framework and can be removed in a jiffy.

The Screen Room attaches snugly to your house creating a "bug free" zone. The ceiling on the Screen Room assures that no insects come in through any gaps at the top. An optional floor helps prevent insects from coming through gaps in your deck floor. Adding a Screen Room to your SunSetter is almost like adding another room to your house - a room that lets you enjoy the outdoors day or evening without being bothered by insects.

The Screen Room is available for the Model 900XT and Model 1000XT only.

Optional Screen Room Floor

This great looking, rugged floor adds style and comfort while it protects your deck or patio surface - and your bare feet. The floor is the perfect addition to your screen room, making it a totally enclosed room that gives you unprecedented bug protection. It keeps furniture legs from marring the deck surface, and makes your deck a more comfortable place to walk. Textured, to make the deck surface less slippery. Protects against splinters and rough spots. Comes in a lovely "neutral" tan color, which will last and hold its color for years. Mildew and flame resistant.

The Optional Screen Room Floor is available for the Model 900XT and Model 1000XT only.

Weatherbreaker Panels

These ingenious front and side screens extend down 5 feet to block out up to 60% of sun and wind, but let in air and light.

Weatherbreaker Panels are sturdy, matching cream-colored vinyl screens that attach easily onto your awning. When you want to block the sun and breeze, or prevent light rain from blowing under your awning, simply attach a Weatherbreaker Panel and secure it to your deck or railing. (The panels can be removed in seconds.) You'll still have plenty of light and ventilation, but the Weatherbreaker helps keep out 60% of the sun, wind, and drizzle, so you don't have to worry about napkins blowing off your table or mist from a passing shower blowing under the canopy. You can use one panel at a time or front and side panels together. The awning must be fully extended to use Weatherbreaker Panels.

Weatherbreaker Panels are available for all SunSetter Models.

Rainaway Arches

With their exclusive patented design, these graceful arches provide extra support, help prevent water collection, sagging, and wind flapping, while adding clearance underneath.

Rainaway Arches give you extra support and more headroom while curving your awning fabric . Using a self-adjusting gas-filled shock absorber, the arches give a wonderful "bowed" effect to your awning, and help keep the fabric taut in rain and breeze. How many arches you need depends on the width of your awning.  Included with the arches are four DeFlappers to help keep your awning fabric at maximum tension and rigidity. (There is no need to purchase a Center Brace when you buy the Rainaway Arches.)

DeFlappers

Help prevent your awning from flapping in strong breezes.

Do you live in a windy area? If so, you may want to consider our DeFlappers, which minimize flapping easily and economically with a set of four DeFlappers. They attach to the support with a stretchable bungee cord to maintain tautness. Non-marring PVC grips tighten onto the fabric with a hand knob. Just attach the gripper to the fabric, and loop the cord over your awning rafter. No tools required. Sold in a set of four.

DeFlappers are available for the Model 900XT and Model 1000XT only.

Center Brace

Provides extra support, rigidity, and fabric tautness .

It installs under the center portion of your awning, drawing the fabric to maximum recommended tautness. Its self-adjusting gas-filled shock absorber provide extra fabric tension during steady breezes or wind  gusts. The brace is simple to install and remove - it takes just seconds to attach. Cream-colored to match the rest of your awning hardware, this sturdy aluminum brace has a baked enamel finish, so it's rust-proof and maintenance-free. During high winds, of course, we recommend you simply roll your awning up.

The Center Brace is available for the Model 900XT and Model 1000XT only.

SunSetter Patio Lights

Enjoy your awning during the evening and at night, too!

Made of tough, unbreakable Lexan^® these beautiful weatherproof lights take standard 60 watt bulbs (not included) for plenty of illumination for evening activities. The smoke-colored prismatic globes diffuse the light so there's no harsh glare. They look so festive they're great for entertaining. Sold in sets of six lights with a "stretch coil" cord plus 20 additional feet of cord between the plug and the first light. We supply cream-colored vinyl hangers that match your awning hardware. Standard 110 volt, UL and CSA listed. (We recommend plugging these or any lights into a circuit-breaking electrical outlet made for outdoor use.)

Cleaning Kit

Keep your awning looking its best!

Includes a long-handled brush, a bottle of cleaning concentrate, a touch-up paint kit and a fabric repair kit with fabric patch material.

Awning Cover

This sturdy cream-colored vinyl cover attaches over your awning when it's not in use, keeping it clean and protecting it from dirt, cobwebs, ice, etc. The cover attaches to the wall behind the awning with grommets and stretchable cords.

The Awning Cover is available for all SunSetter Models.

Motorized Awning Remote Control Operation

Open and close your Motorized Awning from anywhere -- even inside your house.

You can upgrade any SunSetter Motorized awning to a remote control operation which includes a built-in remote receiver in the upgraded motor and our pocket-size Remote Control transmitter, in place of the wall switch that is normally included. Just plug the power cord into any grounded outdoor outlet, just like you would plug in the standard Motorized Awning. (We recommend a ground-fault interrupter-style outlet for safety). The Remote Control transmitter works with radio waves, which means you can open and close your Motorized Awning safely from anywhere - even inside your house. You don't have to be on a "line of sight" with the awning. Open or close the awning completely in seconds, or stop it at any point you want in between.

The upgrade to Remote Control operation can only be ordered while ordering the SunSetter Motorized Model and can not be added later.

SunSetter Mat

This great looking, rugged floor mat adds style and comfort while it protects your deck or patio surface - and bare feet! It beautifies your deck or patio, keeps furniture legs from marring the deck surface, and makes your deck a comfortable place to walk. Textured, to make the deck surface less slippery. Protects against splinters and rough spots. Prevents furniture "scuff marks." Will last and hold its color for years! Mildew and flame resistant. All Weather Remote

If you already own a SunSetter Motorized Awning with Remote Control Operation and you want a second remote, either for convenience or because your Remote has been lost or broken, the All Weather Remote is perfect. It works just like the standard Remote, but is even more resilient and weather-resistant, so it's especially good if you leave your Remote where it might accidentally get wet.

Wireless Wall Switch

Our Wireless Wall Switch works just like a regular switch to operate your SunSetter Motorized Awning - but it requires no wiring or electrician to install. It's made to be mounted indoors, letting you open and close your Motorized Awning in seconds without having to go outside. Note: the Wireless Wall Switch only works with Motorized Awnings that were originally ordered with the Remote Control Option, because it uses the same radio transmission technology that's built inside that version of the awning. The Wireless Wall Switch is available in white or ivory.
